A drill-free early-lesion option
What Curodont Repair Fluoride is designed to do
Curodont Repair Fluoride is a low-viscosity liquid applied in the office to an early carious lesion before a true hole has formed. Its formula moves through the porous area and helps attract calcium and phosphate from saliva, supporting remineralization. The goal is to arrest or help reverse mineral loss in a suitable early lesion while keeping as much natural enamel as possible.
This is different from a filling. Curodont is not intended to replace tooth structure in a cavitated cavity. If an examination shows a deeper or open cavity, your dentist will discuss restorative choices instead.
Early, non-cavitated lesions
Potentially appropriate areas may look like white spots with an intact surface. Lesions between teeth can require bitewing radiographs or other diagnostic assessment because they are not always visible directly.
Natural tooth structure
The approach is intended to support the tooth's own mineral repair rather than place traditional filling material in an early lesion.
A careful diagnosis comes first
Who may be a candidate—and where it stops
Candidacy depends on the lesion's activity, depth, surface condition, location, your oral hygiene, and the findings from your examination. A stable area may need monitoring and prevention rather than immediate treatment. An active early lesion may be discussed for Curodont, fluoride, or another minimally invasive option.
Curodont does not fill an established cavity. Frank cavitation, extensive decay, infection, or another problem may call for a filling or different care. Even when Curodont is selected, results vary and follow-up matters. We will explain what we can see, what remains uncertain, and when the area should be rechecked.
What to expect
The visit and the care afterward
The appointment begins with an examination and any imaging needed to understand the lesion. If Curodont is appropriate, the tooth is cleaned, isolated, and prepared before the liquid is placed on the area. The material is left undisturbed for the clinician's directed time; no drilling is used for an appropriate non-cavitated lesion. Your dentist will tell you whether another preventive product or a later application is appropriate.
After application, avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes unless your dental team gives different instructions. Continue brushing twice daily with fluoridated toothpaste and clean between teeth, especially around a lesion between teeth. Keep recommended recall visits so the area can be assessed over time.
Planning your care
Discussing cost and payment before treatment
There is no single fee that fits every Curodont visit. The total can depend on the examination, diagnostic needs, number and location of lesions, and whether other preventive or restorative care is recommended. Call Bencaz Family Dentistry for the current fee and treatment details rather than relying on an estimate from another case.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, CareCredit, and Cherry Payment Plans as payment options. We also offer an in-house Discount Dental Plan (not dental insurance). Insurance benefits and financing terms vary by plan and provider. Our team will review your options before treatment.

A little clarity helps
Curodont Repair Fluoride: Your Questions, Answered.
There is no one-size-fits-all treatment plan. Bring your questions—we’ll help you understand what fits your smile.
Can Curodont Repair Fluoride treat a regular cavity?
Curodont is intended for selected early, non-cavitated lesions. It does not fill a cavity with a visible hole. If decay has formed a true cavity or reached a more advanced stage, your dentist will discuss restorative treatment or another appropriate option.
Will a white spot disappear completely?
Not necessarily. An early white-spot appearance may fade, remain partly visible, or change gradually. Curodont is meant to support mineral repair and control of a suitable lesion, not to guarantee a cosmetic result.
What should I do after Curodont treatment?
Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes after application unless your dental team says otherwise. Brush twice daily with fluoridated toothpaste, clean between your teeth, and return for the follow-up recommended for your lesion.
How does the dentist know whether Curodont is appropriate?
The dentist evaluates the surface, activity, location, and depth of the area. Lesions between teeth may need bitewing radiographs, and additional diagnostic tools may be considered. The examination also helps determine whether monitoring, fluoride, Curodont, or a filling makes more sense.
